Learning Innovations and Academic Development, or LIAD, is both a service and delivery department at George Brown. We offer a variety of online and distance programs and courses, and general education electives.

In our service role, we foster and support the use of educational technologies to enhance and enrich learning and teaching at GBC. Whether it’s getting set up in WebCT, creating a web page, designing and conducting online surveys, or learning how to use threaded discussions or chats, LIAD is here to help faculty use e-tools to help students learn.
