Challenge Test Info
George Brown's Computer Skills program offers in-class Challenge Testing for full-time students registered in the course. Challenge Testing for your CSA course is available in weeks 2, 3, and 4 of term only.
A minimum grade of 80% is required to pass the Challenge Test. If you are proficient with Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, you may wish to attempt the Challenge Test. There is only one attempt at this test.
If you have taken an equivalent post-secondary computer application course, using Microsoft Office 2010, applications Windows, Word, Excel, Powerpoint & Outlook, with a grade of B or higher within the last 5 years, you may qualify for an exemption from your CSA course.
If you pass your Challenge Test, you have satisfied the requirements for your CSA course and will receive a Pass grade. This is a for-credit test, not an exemption test. You must be registered for the course to be eligible for the Challenge
The Challenge Test is not timed. Expect to spend between 2 and 3 hours completing your Challenge Test.
